The necessary part (s) was found using Google. They were appropriately priced with quick shipping. This transaction was excellent from the perspective of the purchaser/user.
Received switch (old Cessna master switch, STDP) seller advertised tests good. However when I put it through the rigors it became evident the switch had a finicky open. No fault of the seller, I could see how most people would think it’s a good switch. Lead on each post, ohm it out, open when open, and continuity when closed, so it’s good. However, this is a unique switch in type design and it proved to be not in the condition I needed it to be for my customer.
Thankfully, I notified FractionAIR of this unfortunate event and they responded amazingly. Immediate refund was issued, they offered free shipping on the next order, and above all else they were genuine and apologetic. It was very clear they honestly thought they were selling a solid switch. Even with this happening and with it being my first time working with this company, I’d happily buy from them again and recommend you give them a try too. It’s used aircraft parts and sometimes s**t happens, but it’s all about how you pivot to a solution and execute, they did great. Thanks.
