Overview

This bleed valve assembly includes a bleeder needle, bleeder seat, needle cap, and in certain configurations an O-ring. The seat is machined from stainless steel and cadmium plated to guard against galvanic corrosion when paired with a magnesium housing. The needle uses heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel with an enlarged hex profile to reduce wear on the wrench flats, while the cap material and shorter geometry are intended to improve seal retention and resist cracking. Units can be purchased as complete kits or as individual replacement parts.
