Overview

This is a valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) battery from Concorde's RG Series, built with a low resistance design for dependable engine starting and backup power if the generator fails. It uses absorbed glass mat (AGM) separators and sealed, non-removable vent valves, so no water or electrolyte top-ups are needed. The battery arrives fully charged, factory tested, and ships as non-HAZMAT. It is designed for reciprocating aircraft engines and standby/essential power systems, not for turbine engine starting.
