Overview

The SureFly SIM4P is a solid-state electronic ignition module designed to replace a traditional 4-cylinder impulse coupled magneto. It uses Hall Effect sensors to determine engine speed and position, allowing it to operate in either fixed or variable timing mode. In variable mode, spark advance is adjusted based on manifold pressure and RPM, with base timing set from the engine's data plate at installation. Because it relies on solid-state industrial-grade electronics rather than points, condensers, rotors or caps, the unit is designed to require no scheduled maintenance or overhauls.

Please Note

  • If your aircraft battery is located in the tail, a longer power wire must be purchased separately.
  • Included power wire harness is 84" long, 14ga. wire with inline fuse holder, 10A fuse and ring terminals.
  • Included manifold pressure hose is 36" long, 1/8"ID x 1/4"OD high temp. rubber hose.
  • Engine STC paperwork and Airframe STC paperwork are included in the box.
  • Variable timing mode requires: normally aspirated engine
