Overview

The FTA-850L is a portable airband transceiver designed for pilots, combining a 2.4-inch full-color TFT display with navigation support based on ILS, VOR, or GPS signals. It stores up to 400 memory channels and supports wireless operation via a built-in Bluetooth module, compatible with commercial headsets or Yaesu's optional SSM-BT10 unit. The housing is polycarbonate, rated IPX5 for water resistance and tested to MIL-STD-810H standards. The unit ships with a set of charging and power accessories along with a 3-year waterproof warranty.
