Overview

This control unit adjusts the brightness of the green LEDs found on a range of EI instruments, allowing pilots to dim displays for low-light or night conditions. A single CP-1 can be wired to one instrument or several at once, giving linear brightness adjustment across the connected units. It fits into a standard 1/4-inch panel hole and works on either 12V or 24V electrical systems.
