JPI CHT Gasket-Type Probe, Type K

Overview

This probe measures cylinder head temperature by replacing the standard copper gasket beneath a spark plug. It can be fitted at either the upper or lower spark plug position, whichever position gives readings that align best with the other temperature probes in the engine monitoring setup. Because of where the gasket sits relative to the spark plug, this probe design tends to register somewhat higher temperatures than other CHT probe types.
