Overview

Aviation grade solenoid for continuous-duty 12 volt applications (non FAA-PMA approved). Fits current GA production aircraft as well as legacy aircraft. Replaces both single-terminal switched units and the current double-terminal switched units in production today. All units undergo multiple quality and functional tests prior to certification and delivery.

  • Continuous duty — suitable as a Master / battery solenoid (not for use as a starter relay).
  • Externally grounded; can be mounted in any position, including on a metal battery box.
  • All units inspected and tested to performance standards.

  • Large studs interchangeable (100 A each); small posts — one switched positive, one ground — interchangeable.
  • Terminal posts: front two 10-32 UNF-2A; larger side posts 5/16-24 UNF-2A.

  • Not FAA-PMA approved; may be installed in a certified aircraft only via a 337 field approval.
