Overview

This probe measures oil temperature and is designed to work with JPI EDM engine monitoring systems. It fits all Lycoming and Continental direct drive engines. Installation takes place on the right-hand (passenger) side of the engine, at the front oil galley, by removing the factory-installed 1/8 NPT plug and threading the probe into its place. The probe features a 3/8-24 boss sized to match the pre-drilled mounting hole provided by the engine manufacturer for this exact purpose.
