This is a mineral-based, ashless, nondispersant multigrade aviation engine oil for piston aircraft engines, intended for operators who prefer an oil without dispersant additives. Compared to single-grade mineral oils, it allows for easier cold starts and faster oil circulation at low temperatures, while retaining strong film strength under high loads and elevated temperatures to guard against wear and piston scuffing. It is also suitable as a break-in oil for freshly overhauled engines, helping to limit cylinder glazing during the break-in period, which typically takes under 25 hours of operation.
