Overview

This bulb set offers an LED alternative to the incandescent RA-7512 (14V) and W-1290 (28V) reflector-type navigation bulbs used on many General Aviation aircraft. The set contains one red and one green LED bulb, each fitted with a BAY15S base compatible with most Grimes and Whelen navigation light fixtures. Operating across a 10-30VDC range, the LEDs draw less current than incandescent bulbs while producing a brighter nav light output. The units have been tested in Grimes and Whelen navigation lights as well as Grimes rotating beacons.
