Overview

This unit is a combined voltage regulator and overvoltage sensor for 12Vdc aircraft alternators, delivering a regulated 14Vdc output. It is built to be pin- and function-compatible with the equivalent Cessna component, allowing direct replacement in existing installations. Beyond basic regulation, it monitors for high and low voltage conditions, protects against field-to-ground short circuits, and includes an onboard trouble-shooting light to help diagnose faults. An indicator pin can also be wired to a cockpit light to alert the pilot of an open alternator switch, a failed OV sensor, or a broken sense wire.
